Loreto

Pictures from our week-long stay at the Villages of Loreto Bay in Nopolo, BCS Mexico (Baja). The development, about 15 minutes south of the town of Loreto, started in the early 2000's and now has about 700 homes, a hotel and golf course, along with a few shops and restaurants. Virtually all of the units are owned by US and Canadian folks and most stay for an extended period from November through April. While there, we drove west up into the Sierra de la Giganta mountains to the town of San Javier where the is a 250 year old mission and north to Mulege, at the north end of the Bahia de Conception.
