England and France 2000

In the summer of 2000 we went to southern England to visit Marina's brother Peter and his wife, Barbara. While there we took a ferry across to St. Malo in France and visited Mont St. Michel along with other areas in the vicinity. Unfortunately, there was a strike at the time which made fuel impossible to get, restricting our travels. A barricade by the strikers across the causeway to Mont St. Michel gave us an excuse to spend the night on the island.
