We spent four weeks in western France and northern Spain. Arriving in Paris, we spent a week with Marina's brother Peter who lives south of Nantes then headed south with him for a week in the Pyrenees, staying in Luz - St.Sauveur while exploring the surrounding area. The highlight of that was a hike into the Cirque de Gavarnie. From there we went into Spain, spending a few days in the town of Zumaia while visiting Bilbao and San Sebastian before moving further west to a place outside Llanes from which we had access to the wonderful beaches and the Picos de Europa. It was a two-day drive back to Paris, where we spent a wonderful day roaming around the city before heading home.
