After a rather paltry showing so far, winter finally got it's act together and delivered a decent snowfall. We got about
12 inches Saturday night and by Sunday morning the sun was coming out. The first order of business was to to get the
snowblower out and clear the driveway.
Once that was out of the way, we decided to go sking. It was the first time this winter. Since it was already noon (hey,
it's Sunday!) we decided to stay close to home. This meant trying out a new place. We found one only 30 minutes away,
and it was good. It was the first chance Nick had had to try out his new skis.
Sasha and Nick took off on their own and discovered all the great hills. While we were resting at one of the trailside
shelters, Nick and Sasha came by and decided to stop. Unfortunatly, Sasha just couldn't resist playing in the snow a
bit. Such grace...
Marina was trying to keep us on track. Unfortunatly, I led us onto all the icy trails and got the skis to the point
where they wouldn't move.
All in all it was a great day!
Yes, I know. There aren't any pictures of me. Nobody else was offering to take pictures!
